OVERVIEW
This course is designed as a top up degree for International students who have an HND or equivalent qualification at Merit Level, and have an interest in developing their knowledge of business management.

With a strong focus on employability, this programme provides the intellectual underpinnings required for a career in a rapidly changing work environment, as well as a rigorous approach to self-awareness and personal development. You’ll also have exposure to the world of work and its current demands through work experience opportunities working with professional bodies and employers, and undertaking entrepreneurial activities.

While studying this course you’ll have the opportunity to become knowledgeable, competent and effective business managers and leaders able to sustain successful careers in business management. After graduating you’ll have a variety of business management careers available to you, including roles such as management consultant, business analyst or operations manager. If you would like to continue your studies after graduating, you could consider the following postgraduate options: Masters of Business Administration – MBA, MSc in Business Management or Chartered Management Institution's postgraduate qualifications.

COURSE CONTENT
All modules carry 20 credits, and students will study 60 credits per semester made up of 2 core modules and 1 elective module per semester.

HOW WILL YOU LEARN?
All of our undergraduate degree programmes are full time and can be studied on-campus at London Bloomsbury. 

ON CAMPUS STUDY
This course is delivered in an interactive way with a real life focus, with learning taking place both in and outside the classroom environment.

Students should expect 9 contact hours overall each week, made up of 3 workshops per module (3 modules each semester), each lasting 1 hour each.

Face-to-face learning is supported by online resources, including the Financial Times, case studies, simulations, learning videos, reading materials, online testing, and feedback. Students will receive their core textbooks free of charge.

In addition, all the University of Law Business School's programmes are supported by our Virtual Learning Environment: Elite. This is the first point of call for academic information, such as details of assessments, lecture sequences and online copies of all study materials.

Students also have access to our online library facilities and learning resources from the Chartered Management Institute, the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Financial Times. These resources provide a range of professional and business based materials that represent the latest market trends, with sector-based articles and analysis reports.
