COURSE OVERVIEW
An MSc in International Business Management will give you the skills and knowledge you need to enter a global business world. The course aims to strengthen your critical understanding of the international business environment, trade and strategy. Regular guest speakers and expert tutors bring their knowledge of employability and the requirements of business to a global context.
You will explore international trade, strategy, strategic foresight, leadership skills, business analytics, marketing management and cross-cultural management. You will also be guided in your final piece of work; a dissertation on an international business management topic of your choosing.

COURSE STRUCTURE
We use a wide variety of teaching and learning methods which include lectures, seminars, class discussions, case studies, group work, presentations and applied study.
Compared to an undergraduate course, you will find that this masters requires a higher level of independent working.

Entry requirements
To apply for this course you will need a 2:2 honours degree, or equivalent in a business/finance related discipline. We will also consider relevant experience in this field.
Fees and finance
The annual fee for this course is:
- £6,500 if you are from the UK/EU. If you are a University of Sunderland graduate, you will receive a £1,000 alumni discount on your tuition fee.
- £13,000 if you are an international student. However, all international students applying in 2020 are eligible for a £1,500 scholarship. This means that the total tuition fee you will pay is £11,500 each year.
Additional tuition fee discount for international students: All courses require you to pay 50% of the total tuition fee as a deposit. However, if you pay 100% of your tuition fee prior to CAS issuance, you will receive an extra £1,000 discount on your tuition fee. This would reduce the total annual cost of this course to £10,500.
If you do not wish to pay all of your tuition fees at once, you can choose to pay the remaining 50% up to three months after the start date. If you choose to pay in this way, you will not receive any extra discount, and the total annual cost of this course will be £11,500.
If you are a University of Sunderland graduate, you will receive a £1,000 alumni discount on your tuition fee.
