OVERVIEW
The programme offers you a thorough grounding in business, and the more specialist concepts and applications of marketing management. You will be exposed to the relational nature of marketing and how strategic marketing planning and communications can aid the success of an international organisation.

You will refine your decision making and analytical skills, as well as gaining valuable experience in elements of research, presentation, teamwork and problem solving, increasing your value in a competitive job market.

GLOBAL ROTATION
You can expand your study experience by rotating across our campus locations in the UK and Berlin. During your time at ULaw Business School, you can complete modules at alternative campus locations, returning to your ‘home’ campus to complete your final module. Visa restrictions and study conditions may apply, however you are supported throughout the rotation process.

COURSE CONTENT & STRUCTURE
Students will study for one year, which is divided into two semesters and the summer period for the dissertation. Students will study four modules, each worth 30 credits, and another module worth 60 credits, totalling 180 credits.

The course will cover the following core modules:
  • International Marketing Leadership (30 credits)
  • Managing Organisational Reputation (30 credits)
  • Business Analysis and Decision Making (30 credits)
  • International Emerging Themes (30 credits)
  • Research Methods and Research Based Output (60 credits)
INTERNATIONAL MARKETING LEADERSHIP
This module will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to research, understand and develop effective international marketing strategies relating to an organisation’s corporate and business strategic intent. This module responds to the need for managers to gain an international competitive advantage for their organisations through strategies and mechanisms by predicting future trends and emerging themes. With focus on and insight into international marketing leadership and planning concepts, you will learn how these are applied to ensure results are delivered.

MANAGING ORGANISATIONAL REPUTATION
This module will teach you how organisations develop their identities in order to develop effective high level international competitive marketing strategies. With a focus on developing effective corporate communication strategies, you will refine the skills necessary to adapt to future strategic international corporate reputation.

BUSINESS ANALYSIS AND DECISION MAKING
This module covers strategic audits, which help prioritise the key issues, opportunities and risks facing an organisation in terms of meeting future objectives. You will learn about the application of a range of financial and risk models that support the assessment of an organisation’s vision, mission and strategic marketing objective.

INTERNATIONAL EMERGING THEMES
International marketing is a key driver of success in today’s dynamic international organisations. This module will give you an insight into international emerging marketing concepts and tools, and how these are applied to deliver results. The focus is gaining an understanding of marketing from a micro and macro perspective. A distinctive feature is the focus and insight into international marketing concepts and tools and how these are applied to deliver results. Students will be able to build and refine the skills necessary to anticipate and adapt to future international environment changes. The aim of the module is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to research, understand and interpret changing marketing environment and its impact on organisations.

RESEARCH METHODS AND RESEARCH BASED OUTPUT
Here, you will critically evaluate a business issue of your choice. The module will equip you with the necessary tools for researching within a professional environment, and provides you with an opportunity to diagnose and investigate a complex business issue.
