Your legal career starts here. Our modular GDL is the pathway into practice for non-law graduates.
Many employers favour GDL students in an increasingly competitive legal job market. Through studying another degree subject, and building your career in another discipline, you will have gained many transferable skills. By choosing law at a later stage than some others, you are showing motivation and determination to pursue a new career. Employers actively seek candidates with these benefits.
Our structured course is taught by qualified lawyers with lectures** and practical workshops to develop your legal skills.
Our GDL is modular. This means that you complete the exam at the end each semester while the information is still fresh in your mind, similar to how you might have done for your undergraduate degree.

Are you a trainee solicitor looking for a legal training provider who can support your career needs and ambitions? Or perhaps you’re a legal employer seeking professional training for your trainees?
Look no further. It is vital that trainee solicitors receive training that is professional, effective and flexible enough to adapt to the commercial and specialist needs of their employers, which is precisely what our market-leading courses for trainee solicitors offer.
GDL and LPC courses are the bedrock upon which trainees’ careers are built – the better the training, the better the ability of law graduates to hit the ground running. This is just one of the reasons why we have become the preferred supplier of GDL, LPC and PSC courses for many leading law firms.
Our market-leading Professional Skills Course (PSC) can be tailored to your preferred specialisms and can incorporate elements of our Higher Rights of Audience programme.
In addition, we also offer our Trainee Litigation Programme. Designed to give trainee solicitors experience equivalent to that gained during a contentious seat, it offers an ideal alternative for trainees who may not intend to practise in this area.
